Lace Wedding Invitations
These floral lace letterpress wedding invitations have a perfectly delicate and feminine look, making your first announcement of the wedding to your guests a beautiful statement! The main lace design was “blind” printed in letterpress on the main invitation, and then carried through in purple to the rest of the set. The invitation was highlighted by purple edge painting, and an overall purple and gray theme. The lace design on the invitations was carried through to the thank you notes and later to the wedding day programs and other items, in a gray and purple theme for the fabulous wedding on Martha’s Vineyard.
Letterpress Lace
Using letterpress printing was the perfect way to achieve the look of white lace, as though it were embedded in the paper. To achieve this look the paper is run through with the printing plates with no ink on them, leaving only the deep impression on the paper. The flower design in the lace pops up, as well as the lattice lace background, with deep purple text below. For your own custom lace wedding invitations contact us in our Washington, DC studio!

Laser Cut Cherry Blossom Invitations
- Customizable
- Matching pieces available
- Minimum order quantity 75
Laser Cut Cherry Blossoms
What could be more perfect than laser cut cherry blossoms and all the DC landmarks for a spring wedding in Washington, DC? This laser cut wrap was a custom design for a May wedding at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium, inspired by the profile of DC cherry trees against the Jefferson Memorial and Washington Monument. A beautiful pink cherry tree in full blossom folds over one side of the invitation inside, over the other side of the wrap featuring all the prominent Washington monuments and landmarks. The invitation pieces themselves were printed in beautiful gray letterpress ink, on 100% cotton paper.
The Detail of Laser Cutting
To create the small and delicate design of the cherry blossoms and DC scene, nothing was more perfect than laser cutting to achieve each tiny detail. As an added touch, the silver paper for the wrap was first printed in pink on one side, before the laser cutting was done, to give the feel of the pink hues of cherry blossoms and to contrast with the silver monuments and buildings underneath. The result was a truly unique and elegant laser cut wrap, further highlighted by the always-stunning letterpress print inside. When should you send your destination save the dates? Get them out early! Your guests will need time to book their flights and plan their vacation, so if you want them to be at your special day give them enough time to plan. We recommend eight months in advance for international wedding locations, or more depending on how hard it is to book accommodations at your venue.
