One of our most popular wedding invitations is our embossed Talavera Mexican Tile design. We thought it was time to show it off in some of the many possible combinations of colors available! The original design uses very traditional Mexican colors of green, yellow, orange, and blue, but we love seeing it in unusual combinations like black, white, gray, and pink. Pair it with a bright pink pocketfold and it’s a whole new theme come to life.
Rose used to live next to the Uriarte store in Mexico City, an outlet for their factory in Puebla. Although Talavera-style ceramics began in Spain, the Uriarte Factory in Puebla, Mexico is the largest producer of Talavera pottery in the world. This factory was started in 1824 and has the top artisans in the region.

The colors can also be customized just for you, including embossing with no color in white. We can also custom design a tile from scratch if you want something just for you!

For Nelina and Vincent’s French country-inspired wedding at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, we created a vintage flowers motif for their letterpress wedding invitations. Bold garnet and dark orange colors brought to mind summer fruits for the July celebration. A letterpress photo postcard of the Chateau was the final touch to give guests the first exciting glimpse of this fabulous Canada location!
