O_O I had no idea that much went into a wedding. I might be glad, one day, that I came across this list.

This is a terrific list, but I didn’t see any reference made to preparing table assignments. Having assigned seating is not an easy task, but it certainly helps your guests to enjoy your reception to the fullest as you have chosen tablemates for them that (1) they know & like and/or (2) have similar interests.

After guests buy you a nice gift, travel sometimes long distances and try to make your special day all that it can be, the bride (and groom) should do their best to ensure that the table at which they’ll be sitting for the evening is comprised of others they can relate to easily!

I actually am a pastry chef and work for a bakery who specifically does wedding/specialty cakes. We have actually been on TLC, and are amongst the top 5% of wedding cake makers in the U.S. and would just like to throw this out there… if you wait until 4-5 months before your wedding, you’re not going to be able to get a cake from a super fantastic bakery. We recommend booking about 9 months to 1 year in advance.
Just wanted to throw that out there!
